Solid Bleached Board

Invercote is a multi-layered product (solid bleached board, SBB), entirely based on fresh fibres. Specific fibre compositions are used for the various layers in the construction to optimise performance. The outer layers are dominated by hardwood fibres to promote smoothness and printability. The middle layer consists of softwood fibres for strength and flexibility. The coating composition is adjusted in different general directions for the product family to satisfy printability requirements.

Product description

Invercote GP is a solid bleached board of medium density. The printing side is fully coated and finished to a matt level. The reverse side is surface sized. Invercote GP fulfills the needs for very demanding packaging applications with high demands on printed images. Invercote GP can be reverse side extrusion coated with different plastics and laminated with aluminium foil to meet a wide range of packaging needs.
