“The brief was to create an attractive and tactile anticipation of the formula in the product,” explains Antonella Caprio, Area Sales Manager at APG.
To achieve the premium feel in the cosmetic boxes, the design team used offset UV printing, UV special effect silk screen printing, hot-foil stamping, spot embossing, and a fingermark-resistant PPL soft touch finish.
“We like the resulting contrast between the smoothness of the soft touch finish and the glittered band with the pearls in relief,” Antonella Caprio adds.
“Invercote G is an exceptional board – the smoothness of the surface combined with its excellent structure makes it ideal for various printing applications, for the embossing, and for the shaping of the integrated inner support that stabilises the product in the vertical position.”
