Solid Bleached Board

Invercote is a multi-layered product (SBB), entirely based on fresh fibres. Specific fibre compositions are used for the various layers in the construction to optimise performance. The outer layers are dominated by hardwood fibres to promote smoothness and printability. The middle layer consists of softwood fibres for strength and flexibility.

Product description

Invercote CAW2 is designed for graphical products, and offers equal, outstanding aesthetic printing properties on both sides. Thanks to its strenghts it provides advantages in designing and producing brochures, covers and cards of various kinds. As both sides are fully coated and have a matt finish, the surface is smooth and perfect to faithfully reproduce the most sophisticated printed images. The surface, in combination with Invercote CAW2’s excellent structural design and embossing characteristics, makes it ideal for demanding graphical applications. Due to the consistency of Invercote CAW2 its performance is predictable, making repeat print runs with the same machine settings and excellent print results possible. In addition to traditional printing techniques, Invercote is qualified and certified for several digital printing presses on the market today and highly suitable for digital finishing technology.
