Clarins Group visited the Iggesund mill and the Iggesund team to assess their way of working. They were as happy with what they met as they were with the paperboard itself. These factors made them go for Invercote for the Azzaro Wanted perfume packaging.
What characteristics are important in the paperboard for this product?
“The whiteness, the finish, that the folding is just right and the printing is perfect. Also, of course, that it is long lasting and doesn’t crack,” says Benjamin Arzoine, Head of Productions, Clarins Fragrance Group.
The packaging was made by Wauters, the French company specialising in manufacturing of high added-value packaging since 1909.
“It was a challenge to get the printing right and achieving the structure we wanted. But after two tests, we were more than happy,” says Frederic Ansart, Sales Director at Wauters.
