Earlier this year, Iceland teamed up with Slimming World to launch a range of 10 frozen ready meals, based on the slimming company’s “Food Optimising” eating plan.
Ian Schofield, Iceland’s own-label manager, says the company chose Incada as the material for the packaging sleeves because it wanted something “premium looking, clean and brilliant to print on” for this major brand launch.
“Incada was the perfect choice because it’s a clean virgin board that offers a great printing surface, as well as strong properties in the freezer,” Schofield says.
Allison Brentnall of Slimming World says this is the brand’s first launch of frozen meals. “We’re very happy with the result, as the product looks great and sales have been going very well,” she says.
