Four entries made of paperboard from Iggesund Paperboard have been selected as finalists in this year’s edition of the Pro Carton ECMA Awards in packaging design. The winners will be chosen on the 15th of September.
MIU MIU is a fragrance carton from Coty converted by Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS). It uses a combination of embossing and foil embossing to create a pattern designed to create associations with the fashion world and some of the other products in the MIU MIU series.
The chocolate manufacturer Lindt has reached the final with packaging inspired by the Eiffel Tower. Here, too, the conversion has been done by MPS at its Stuttgart facility. Lindt in France is behind the design.
Camacho is a cigar brand owned by Davidoff that targets the American market. Here the converter PAWI Verpackungen from Switzerland has created an elegant and stable pack that appealed to the jury. The packaging design is by PAWI's Stefan Springen and the graphic design comes from Scott Birtwistle.
Brand owner Reload Labs commissioned the Dutch converter Snel BV to develop a packaging for a perfume tester. The packaging design is by Kasper Digitale Media and the graphic design by Tom Hoens.
