French cuisine is the most legendary of all types of cooking. But, as everyone who has ever tried to book a table in Paris knows, getting one is not easy. That insight, combined with dissatisfaction at the range of takeaway food available, convinced Edwy Rousseau to found TipToque. The idea was to ally with well-known chefs in the French capital in order to offer Paris’s best takeaway food.
In the first two years users have flocked to the service, as have leading restaurants. Food from TipToque comes in white and elegantly folded paperboard cartons made of Invercote.
What characteristics of Invercote make it so good for packaging food?
“We decided to deliver cold meals, so we had to find a paperboard that could resist the high temperature of a microwave or oven. Invercote meets these criteria perfectly!” Rousseau says.
