Bold but never regular

For the cover of its 10/13 issue, the design magazine Novum decided to do something unique, presenting the theme of typography using a filigree type never before seen in magazine publishing. The cover was created by Munich-based agency Clormann Design, using laser technology to communicate the message “Be bold, be light or be italic but never regular.” The inner page sparkles in a copper tone printed on Invercote G Brushprint Silver. The black letters are printed on the reserve side of the Invercote G, giving it an uncoated tactile feel.
