Iggesund Paperboard is part of the forest industry group Holmen, which owns more than 1.3 million hectares of forest in Sweden. This allows us to take care and think quality from seed to paperboard. Our foundation is sustainably managed forest, and we make our products in state-of-the-art, bio-powered mills.

Our strategy is in line with the overall strategy of the Holmen Group. Holmen’s business concept is to run and develop profitable and sustainable business within three product-oriented business areas – printing paper, paperboard and sawn timber – as well as within two raw-material-oriented business areas – forest and energy.

Our position as a market leader in Europe, when it comes to high-performance paperboard for consumer packaging and graphical products, is to be reinforced through ongoing product development and outside of Europe, Iggesund is pursuing opportunities for global growth. Basis for organic growth lies in well-invested production facilities, self-sufficiency in energy, competitive production costs and an opportunity to grow through complementary investment.
